Attic bathroom I've completed recently
I came to a job where ditra matting was already down and wedi boards fitted to wet area.
Started with ditra heat system installation to the floor on top of 25mm ply sitting on joists,
waterproofing wet area with schluter Kerdi kit, building up wooden support for the sink and shelves.
Then tiled floor and walls 10/60 cm porcelains in herringbone and fitted all the suite in , resin sink ,shelves and bath filler base ,no bath as it's still to be delivered.
Problems:
Room was far from square so I went in line with left side wall ,
Two half tiled walls very wonky , customer refused straightening the walls so the grout line doesn't quite line up in few spots where the black wall meets the floor
Ply on the floor not level and wonky as well so I had to play up with different adhesive depth
This was the third floor so buckets of sweat to take all material in but best part still on the way as bath is 145kg :/...
